The Boiling Myth
Boiling doesn't make it safe.
It makes it worse.
Heat kills germs. That's where the usefulness ends. Everything else — the metals, the nitrates, the toxins — gets more concentrated with every minute on the stove.
Heavy metals concentrate.
Boiling evaporates water. The arsenic and lead stay behind. Every minute on the stove makes the chemical load more dangerous, not less.
Bacteria die. Their toxins don’t.
Heat kills E. coli — but the toxins they release when they die survive boiling. Those toxins cause the same silent gut damage that stunts children's growth.
Nitrates become lethal.
For infants, concentrated nitrates in formula block the blood from carrying oxygen. A mother who boils borehole water to make it safer can kill her baby within days.
